Le marché

Students assigned as vendors receive product catalogues and inventory lists. They analyze current prices, compare competitors, and determine appropriate pricing for their goods. Once decisions are made, they display their prices on shop boards.
Vendors Prepare
Their Shops
Buyers receive an “event card” outlining a real-life scenario — hosting a dinner, preparing for a birthday, planning a quick family meal, etc. Each card includes a recipe or task, and students must create a shopping list based on their event.
Buyers Plan
With Purpose
Students enter the marketplace and interact entirely in French — greeting vendors, asking questions, confirming prices, purchasing items, and responding to real-time communication.
The Market Opens
In the Marketplace, French is no longer an isolated subject. It becomes a tool.
Students are not repeating phrases from a worksheet. They are making decisions, solving problems, and communicating with intention. The language you have been teaching suddenly has purpose, and students feel it.
That shift from practicing French to truly living it is where confidence begins.
Why It Matters
Clinique médicale
Relaunching Fall 2026

Students assigned as patients receive patient profiles detailing their symptoms and medical concerns. They must explain how they feel, for how long, and respond to the doctor’s follow-up questions in French.
Patients Describe
Their Symptoms
Students assigned as doctors receive a guide outlining common ailments, typical symptoms, and possible treatments. Their role is to ask questions, listen carefully, and determine the patient’s illness before writing an prescription.
Doctors Diagnose
The receptionist oversees appointments, checks in patients, answers basic questions, and helps keep the clinic running smoothly. This role reinforces greetings, scheduling language, and practical conversational skills.
Reception Manages
the Clinic
At Clinique Médicale Flip Kits, French becomes a tool for real communication.
Students are not simply naming body parts or memorizing phrases. They are asking questions, listening carefully, and responding with purpose. The language you have been teaching takes on meaning in a setting that feels authentic and engaging.
When students realize they can successfully navigate a conversation in French, their confidence grows.

Le carnaval
Coming Winter 2026

Students observe a live demonstration of how to make maple taffy at home while learning the cultural significance of this winter tradition. Key vocabulary and procedural language are introduced in context.
Maple Taffy Demonstration
Students rotate through hands-on stations inspired by winter traditions. Activities may include snowball challenges, building an ice city, collaborative snowman construction, and themed games that reinforce French vocabulary, Francophone culture and teamwork.
Interactive Activity Stations
A themed photo booth with cultural props invites students to celebrate Canadian, Québécois, and Franco-Ontarian culture while expressing pride and identity in French.
Celebrate & Capture the Moment
The Carnaval experience brings culture to the forefront of language learning.
Students do not only learn about winter traditions. They participate in them. Through movement, collaboration, and shared celebration, French becomes connected to memory, emotion, and cultural understanding.
When language is tied to experience, it lasts.
